I’m sure you already know this, but sometimes life kinda sucks.
Sometimes it hurts, even though we know that God, this fiercely powerful God who created everything we see before our very eyes, has our back. We’re left feeling alone and wounded.
Last week was a bit of a rough one for me. Having to accept an unwanted answer from God mixed with physically draining commitments left me in an I don’t know what I’m doing anymore limbo. But with much prayer and support from those around me, God has been healing me.
Shane & Shane’s songs Wounded and Healed helped me get through the week. Thanks to my bro Everest for introducing me to these two music geniuses. Shane & Shane on iTunes »

Don’t You heal it?
Why don’t You heal?
And why since you’ve stolen my heart,
Do you leave it so?
Oh this heart of stone.
Why don’t you carry away my heart?
You have stolen and left here broken
Why don’t you carry away my heart?
Already taken (awaken)
Awaken… the dawning of a new heart
Where stone begins to bleed
For the arrow of God that runs through me
Leaves me in need
Here in need
How long?
I have obtained authorization from Shane Barnard to post their music here. Upon requesting permission to do so, I received the reply, and I quote exactly, “Do it!!! Shane b”. Thanks guys!
